KRYOLAN - Scar Matrix
Scar Matrix by Kryolan is a mold featuring 7 different models of typical wounds and scars, enabling you to create small prostheses using latex, gelatin or silicone.
How do I apply it?
I recommend using Mold Release Spray and Translucent Powder to facilitate removal of dry parts.
Do not use with liquids containing solvents.
Cover the shape with a thin layer of Mold Release Spray and allow to dry.
Powder evenly with a small amount of Translucent Powder and remove excess.
Use a sponge, brush or cotton bud to apply a thin layer of Liquid Latex to the form. Allow this first layer to dry almost completely. If necessary, use a hair dryer to speed up the process. Repeat until the desired effect is achieved.
Let the piece dry completely. This may take a few hours, depending on shape and thickness.
Generously powder the piece with Translucent Powder and remove it by lifting the edges, then carefully removing it from the form.
Powder the top of the part during the process, to prevent the edges from sticking together.
