Superstar offers a wide range of single-use stencils for glitter tattoos.
Glitter tattoos are very popular during the summer months, especially at festivals.
They are often applied to the arms, legs or shoulder blade, and last from 3 to 7 days, even under the shower!
How do I create a beautiful glitter tattoo with a stencil?
- Clean the skin with a absorbent cotton soaked in alcohol to remove the excess of sebum and allow a longer lasting tattoo.
- Remove the white backing film from the back of the stencil.
- Apply the stencil firmly to the skin and remove the clear film. Set it aside for later use.
- Apply a thin layer of cosmetic glue to the skin.
There are two techniques available to you for the next step:
- The first technique allows you to avoid tearing off glue and glitter when you remove the stencil. This technique is best used for finer designs.
- gently peel off the stencil before the glue dries.

This technique can be used for less detailed designs or when you are working with only one color of glitter.
