GRIMAGES.COM - Temporary tattoo stencil

GRIMAGES.COM temporary tattoo stencils are made by me (with a lot of love!) and have 3 layers; the white support layer, the green stencil and the transparent transfer layer, essential for a good placement of the stencil!

They are square in shape and measure 5 cm on each side (green part, excluding the cutting edge).

As a reminder, the temporary tattoo stencils are for single use only.

I also offer you a service of creation of personalized stencils! Don't hesitate to contact me to discuss it.

How to create a beautiful glitter tattoo with a Grimages.com stencil?

  • Clean the skin with a absorbent cotton soaked in alcohol to remove the excess of sebum and allow a longer lasting tattoo.
  • Remove the white backing film from the back of the stencil.
  • Apply the stencil firmly to the skin and remove the clear film. Set it aside for later use.
  • Apply a thin layer of cosmetic glue to the skin.

There are two techniques available to you for the next step:

  • The first technique allows you to avoid tearing off glue and glitter when you remove the stencil. This technique is best used for finer designs.
    • gently peel off the stencil before the glue dries.
    • then let the glue dry; it becomes transparent.
    • with a thicker or thinner brush, apply the glitter generously on the tattoo. Tip: if you are applying multiple colors, start at the bottom of the tattoo so that the glitter doesn't fall onto an unwanted area.
  • The second technique allows you to better visualize the design because once the glue dries, it becomes transparent and if you remove the stencil, it is more difficult to discern the design. This technique can be used for less detailed designs or when you are working with only one color of glitter.
    • let the glue dry; it becomes transparent.
    • using thicker or thinner brushes, generously apply the glitter to the tattoo. Tip: if you are applying more than one color, start at the bottom of the tattoo so that the glitter doesn't stick to an unwanted area.
    • gently peel off the stencil.
  • Once the tattoo is finished, remove the excess glitter with a large brush and use the sticky power of your transparent transfer sheet, the one you put aside before applying the stencil, to catch the last stubborn glitter.
